Recently I got a longboard and I've been having a lot of fun learning to ride it. I thought it would look super cool with a trans flag on the bottom so I decided to try my hand at spray painting.

Instead of removing the trucks I just covered them with plastic bags and tape. The hardest part was applying the tape to the sides of the board.

I used a plastic shower curtain as a drop cloth to not get paint on the driveway. Below is the skateboard after the pink stripes were painted:

While painting the pink stripes I realized that the white stripe is actually thinner than the tape I was using. I had to fold each strip of tape in half while leaving a bit of adhesive exposed in order to cover the middle space while being thin enough. But after painting the white stripe and a clear coat, it was done!
